New materials, technologies and our growing appreciation of other world cultures have inspired artists in all media to express themselves in fascinating new ways. As for me, in the fifty-year span of my career as an artist, I have worked in a variety of styles and media resisting any attempt to adopt this ism or that. I pride myself on being original.
My sculpture has taken figurative and biomorphic forms and has evolved in both concept and design with a dual purpose: first, as small sculpture to be enjoyed in livable space; second as a maquette for execution on a monumental scale.
Photos below reflect both the original model and a large scale projection. Single click on photos to enlarge.
